An arrow in my hand, strings in my heart
sounds like "one jin of [heavy] strings in my heart"

One glimpse from behind became forever

月光照南邊我卻往北看
yuè guāng zhào nán bian wǒ què wǎng běi kàn
The moon shines towards the south, but I look towards the north

只願風雪來得晚一點
zhǐ yuàn fēng xuě lái de wǎn yì diǎn
Only wishing that the wind and frost will arrive a little later

冷冷人間血脈相連生死斬不斷
lěng lěng rén jiān xuè mài xiāng lián shēng sǐ zhǎn bú duàn
The cold, cold mortal world; the connection through bloodline; life and death cannot be severed

命數虧欠愛恨輾轉不甘卻無怨
mìng shù kuī qiàn ài hèn zhǎn zhuǎn bù gān què wú yuàn
The debts in this fate, love and hate difficult to bear, but there is no resentment

弓和箭只留下了一半

If you are a spring-colored night, I am a silent distant mountain

你是悲傷的螢火守著最後的夜色
nǐ shì bēi shāng de yíng huǒ shǒu zhe zuì hòu de yè sè
You are a sorrowful firefly guarding over the final night

I counted the winters, waiting yet another year

心有熱雪白茫茫一片
xīn yǒu rè xuě bái máng máng yí piàn
The heart contains hot snow in the boundless white [blank scene]

​

星河璀璨月兒彎彎愧疚的貪戀
xīng hé cuǐ càn yuè ér wān wān kuì jiù de tān liàn
The sea of stars are shining brightly; the crescent moon is full of guilt from being reluctant to part

 

青絲萬千長長短短殘忍的纏綿
qīng sī wàn qiān cháng cháng duǎn duǎn cán rěn de chán mián
The green silk has thousands of long and short cruel lingerings

 

借我一晚借寒燈一盞
jiè wǒ yì wǎn jiè hán dēng yì zhǎn
Lend me one night, lend a cold lamp
cold/chilling is used here to convey a sense of loneliness.  is this a lamp that can extend someone's life?  a light to guide souls home?

讓遺憾留在破曉之前
ràng yí hàn liú zài pò xiǎo zhī qián
Let the regrets stay before [things] dawn

原來我是漂泊客你是不舍的離歌
yuán lái wǒ shì piāo bó kè nǐ shì bù shě de lí gē
It turns out that I am a drifting guest, and you are a reluctant-to-leave song  

 

你是漫天雪飄落唯一溫熱的一朵
nǐ shì màn tiān xuě piāo luò wéi yī wēn rè de yì duǒ
From the thousands of snowflakes floating down from the sky, only you are warm

 

可我怎麼不記得故事顛倒了幾折
kě wǒ zěn me bù jì de gù shi diān dǎo le jǐ zhé
But how do I not remember how many times the story was turned upside down?

 

忘了苦澀的因果反復錯過的奈何
wàng le kǔ sè de yīn guǒ fǎn fù cuò guò de nài hé
Forgot the bitter-tasting causes and effects, the repeatedly missed "what can be done?"'s
