I am your, flower's fruit
I am the fruit of your flower

Thousands of miles. Ah

Sorrowful parting. Ah

点一盏 无芯灯 赴余生
diǎn yì zhǎn wú xīn dēng fù yú shēng
Light a, coreless lamp, for the rest of my life

风中花 水中沙 啊
fēng zhōng huā shuǐ zhōng shā a
The flower within the winds, the sand within the waters, Ah

什么树从来不生根 啊

What tree has never grown roots?  Ah

What roots [have spent] 10,000 years, but have not turned into trees?  Ah

Sever the roots of love, forget the past [mortal] dust, seal your heart.  Ah

I am your drifter

花飞去
huā fēi qù
Flowers flying away

泪如雨
lèi rú yǔ
Tears like rain

​

燃心灯 掷一念 问人间
rán xīn dēng zhì yì niàn wèn rén jiān
Burn the lamp in your heart, throw in a sentient thought, ask the mortal world

沧海上 你同我
cāng hǎi shàng nǐ tóng wǒ
On the deep blue sea, you and I

Dare to ask the gods what is happening in the mortal world

伤痴伤嗔伤离别
shāng chī shāng chēn shāng lí bié
Sorrowful devotion, sorrowful anger, sorrowful parting

多情换得泪娑婆
duō qíng huàn dé lèi suō pó
More love only traded back tears of saha
*saha = (Buddhism) world full of suffering and endurance

​

贪聚贪守贪无缺
tān jù tān shǒu tān wú quē
Greed gathers, greed guards, greed lacks not

我本无花自凋落
wǒ běn wú huā zì diāo luò
I originally had no flowers, withering on my own

​

落你眉间成善果
luò nǐ méi jiān chéng shàn guǒ

Falling upon your brows and becoming a fruit that sprouted from good deeds

​

大梦浮生俱难舍
dà mèng fú shēng jù nán shě
The grand dream's floating life is the hardest to part with

​

寻路寻道寻无解
xún lù xún dào xún wú jiě
Searching for a road, searching for a way, searching with no explanation

​

心怀苍生执念舍
xīn huái cāng shēng zhí niàn shě
With a heart carrying the persistent thoughts of all living things

​

修得无念祭盈缺
xiū dé wú niàn jì yíng quē
Cultivating without thought, making an offering to excess and deficiencies

白昼燃透星辰烁
bái zhòu rán tòu xīng chén shuò
The day burns through the stars

​

梵尘望尽穹中月
fàn chén wàng jìn qióng zhōng yuè
The mortal looks exhaustingly at the moon in the center of the sky

 
我本凡身终零落
wǒ běn fán shēn zhōng líng luò
My mortal body originally would end in downfall

​

为赴一诺渡千劫
wéi fù yí nuò dù qiān jié
Were it not for one promise that pulled through a thousand tribulations

​

断情断念断你我
duàn qíng duàn niàn duàn nǐ wǒ
Severing love, severing thoughts, severing you and I

​

护佑人间千秋月
hù yòu rén jiān qiān qiū yuè
Protecting the mortal world for many moons
